Sign-in and saved choices

Sidecar’s sign-in service uses browser storage to maintain your session. Signing out ends your signed-in session. Selected and recently searched cities, and filters you choose to save, are remembered locally so you do not have to enter them again.

Local storage generally remains until replaced or cleared. Clear site data in your browser settings to remove it; this may sign you out and reset saved choices. No advertising or optional analytics cookie code is currently configured in the app itself.

External services

Google Maps loads when you open Map; Stripe checkout loads when you select a paid option. Identity verification and social sign-in use their providers’ flows. These providers may use cookies or similar technology under their own policies. Google Fonts also receives a request when pages load.

Optional location detection requires your browser’s permission and uses OpenStreetMap to resolve the location. You can decline it and search for a city manually.

Consent and tracking

This notice is not a cookie-consent control. Hosting-level analytics and third-party storage have not been fully audited here. If non-essential cookies or tracking are enabled, they must be assessed and, where required, blocked until you give consent, with an equally easy way to reject or withdraw it.
